Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ColorID website (colorid.org) and the ColorID app for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”), provided by Zeisoft Yazilim Limited Sirketi (“Zeisoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
License
The website is free to use. For the app, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it on devices you own or control, as the App Store and Google Play rules allow. We and our licensors keep all rights in the Service. You may not copy, reverse engineer, rent or resell it except as the law allows.
Subscriptions and purchases
The app may offer auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchases. Features, lengths and prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by country and offer.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Any free trial or introductory price is described in the app and on the store listing. An unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.
Color values
ColorID is a reference tool. Color values, paint matches, RAL and Pantone codes are unofficial approximations shown on a screen. Check a physical sample before you buy paint or print, and do not rely on them for print-critical, industrial or safety work. Brand and color names belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products; ColorID is not affiliated with any paint maker.
Color vision test and color blind tools
The color vision test and simulators are screening and learning aids, not a medical diagnosis. Only an eye care professional can diagnose a color vision deficiency.
Your media
Photos and videos you open stay on your device. You are responsible for the media you open with ColorID.
Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
- Do not try to disrupt, overload or abuse the Service.
- Do not use the Service in a way that infringes other people’s rights.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we process. It is part of these Terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free. To the maximum extent the law allows, Zeisoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or purchase amounts, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing, except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or stop the Service or your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Cancelling a store subscription works as described above.
Changes
We may change the Service or these Terms. The date below is the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Izmir, Turkey have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
